Consulting- Plant Border Curb Appeal

As a consulting project in Long Beach, this front yard transformation focused on converting a dry lawn into a vibrant, low-water garden border. The client wanted guidance on plant selection and layout to create a colorful, pollinator-friendly space with minimal maintenance.
The final design features salvia, lamb’s ear, and apricot mallow—all known for their seasonal blooms and drought tolerance—alongside an existing blackberry bush that was preserved and integrated into the planting scheme. The result is a soft, layered edge along the fence that supports local wildlife and adds year-round interest, all while conserving water and reducing lawn space.
